Gabriella Sizing Chart Measure circumference midway between waist and hips
|
For the band size, measure around
the body, just under the arms, with a
measuring tape. If the measurement
is an uneven number, round up to
the next even number.
To determine your cup size, you’ll
need to take a bust measurement
around the body at the fullest part of
the bust. Make sure the measuring
tape is straight or level all around
your body and lies flat against your
back.
Subtract the band (first)
measurement from the bust
(second) measurement. The
difference, as shown in the chart,
will determine your cup size.

1) Place a soft measuring tape at the outside edge of your
shoulder in the middle (where your shirt seam is).
2) Then loosely drape the tape measure across your body down
to the top of your opposite hip bone near your side.
3) Give it some slack so that the tape measure is loose across
your body and not pulled tight
4) See where your measurement is on our sizing chart. Your
size should be similar to your fitted t-shirt size, depending on
your torso length.
HELPFUL HINTS FOR SIZING:
Most women wear the same size sling as they
do a fitted t-shirt. It’s not an exact way to
pick a size but it’s a great place to start.
Women who are a D cup or above prior to
nursing should order a sling that is one size
larger since the sling comes right across the
chest.
The slings will shrink approximately 1 inch
when washed and dried on medium high
heat. We have already taken this into
consideration and have sized up the slings
slightly to account for this. If you order a
size up because you're worried about the
shrinkage, it may be too big and exchanging
can be a hassle.
With your baby in the sling, the bottom of the
sling should hit your body near your hip
bone. For best fit, it should be at or just
above your hip bone.
To measure from shoulder to hip: use a
soft tape measure and start at the outer
corner of your shoulder and measure
diagonally across your body down to your
hip bone. The number (in inches) should
be in the 20s.
Notes on fit: Everyone is different. What
they can and can't tolerate is largely
preferential. Some people can wear
more than one size and that's OK.
Too Small: feels uncomfortably tight, digs
into baby's legs, it's crazy hard to get baby
in.
Too Big: baby feels insecure, your legs
bump the baby as you walk, your back
aches after a short time, sling slips off
your shoulder.
